Public Space is an educational game that teaches children and youth how to respect woman. The player will discover the reality of street harassment and find the most powerful weapon that we possess to stop this problem and create a supportive community: our voice.

    Where everything started!

    Public Space began as José Pedro Gioscia´s undergraduate thesis at ORT University Uruguay

  • NOVEMBER 2015

    Organizations began recognizing us

    Observatorio Contra el Acoso Callejero of Uruguay and Latin America (OCAC Latinoamerica) started playing and supporting Public Space

    Our first award!

    We won the 1st place award in the "National Videogames Contest of Uruguay" in the education and social inclusion category, organized by Antel, ORT, Ingenio

  • JUNE 2016

    Global validation

    The organization Stop Street Harassment (USA) which wrote many of the books that helped us create this game, supported Public Space

    Regional Award

    We also won a regional contest for social impact ideas called “Comprometidos” hosted by Socialab, Koga, Ashoka and UNESCO
